Absolute Black Granite

On this site, Absolute Black means the second grade of Shanxi Black granite. It comes from the same black stone and shares its hardness and dense structure, but the colour is slightly less uniform. Some pieces show small light dots, faint veins or a hint of grey. Once installed this is often hard to notice, and the price is clearly lower than top-grade Shanxi Black.

Buyers choose Absolute Black for large quantities where perfect colour matching is not critical. Typical uses are kitchen worktops for development housing, window sills and thresholds, floor tiles in commercial buildings, and outdoor steps and paving. It polishes to a high gloss and works equally well honed, leathered or flamed.

We supply:

  • Polished tiles: 305x305x10 mm, 400x400 mm, 600x600 mm and cut-to-size
  • Slabs in 2 cm and 3 cm, and countertops cut to your drawings
  • Window sills, thresholds, stair treads and risers
  • Flamed or bush-hammered paving slabs and setts for exterior use
